anticipated book releases | November 2018

Hello my fellow book lovers! Today I am going to share with you some November book releases that sounds incredibly interesting! My favourite release of the month isn’t book-ish, it’s the release of The Sims 4 Get Famous expension pack 😀 Did you know that I have a Tumblr blog dedicated to The Sims 4? You can check it out here!

Anyway, these are in order of publication date. When you click on the graphic, you will be brought to the book’s Goodreads page.

This is What it Feels Like looks more fluffy than the contemporaries I’m usually into, but I can’t say no to sapphic girls!

Publication date: November 6th, 2018

girls of paper and fire.png#OwnVoices Asian-inspired fantasy with queer representation? Sign me up! Girls of Paper and Fire has received many glowing reviews from people who have read ARCs, so I hope this is going to be a fantasy I will enjoy, considering I’ve been struggling with the genre for a while. I absolutely love the colours in this cover! Trigger warning for sexual abuse and violence.

becomingBecoming is former first lady Michelle Obama’s memoir. This isn’t the type of book I’d buy in a bookstore, but if it becomes available on audiobook, I’d definitely want to check it out!

Publication date: November 13th, 2018

empire of sand.pngThis debut adult fantasy is inspired by Indian history. I added Empire of Sand to my TBR because it is a standalone – though a companion novel is being made – and the ARC has received positive reviews.

Publication date: November 13th, 2018

fire and blood.pngThis is without a doubt my most anticipated book release of the month! It’s no Winds of Winter, but Fire and Blood, which tells the history of the Targaryens in Westeros, is going to do just fine in the meantime. I haven’t pre-ordered it because it’s incredibly expensive, so this will most likely be on my Christmas wishlist.

Publication date: November 20th, 2018

Are you looking forward to these book releases as well? Which ones are on your TBR?

  1. Girls of Paper and Fire is one of my most anticipated releases as well, I added it to my tbr at the beginning of the year because the premise intrigued me and then the people who got arcs started to give it amazing ratings and that made me even more excited.

I hadn’t heard about This is What it Feels Like, but I’m definitely adding to my tbr, a fluffy contemporary with a f/f relationships sounds exactly like something I’d love.
